"We have used the P3 prone positioning pillow for two years at the Shriners Hospital Tampa.

We find this positioning aid very useful for positioning our patients during surgical procedures in the prone position. We highly recommend this product."

"Thank you for providing us samples of child and infant's pillows for prone positioning.

Some of my colleagues and I had the oppurtunity to use these pillows and found them to be most useful, both in maintaining the position of the head as well as patency of the airway.

We are planning to have these pillows as a stock item at our hospital."

"Thank you so much for the pillows. We have been using them for 6 months now. Both the child and infant sizes have been invaluable for cushioning and positioning our patients safely. We will be reordering."

Attending Anesthesiologist

"I am writing in regard to the P3 Prone Position Pillow. The pillow was placed on a patient in the trauma unit at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. This patient was placed in a prone position to facilitate mechanical ventilation efforts. Although this is representative of only one case, the response regarding the pillow was extremely favorable. It did provide more comfortable head support for the patient, it provided a much easier means for secretion maintenance and it lessened the chances of tube obstruction by head positions on a standard pillow. Users of the pillow included the respiratory therapists, the physician staff and the nurses caring for this particular patient."

"The P3 Prone Positioning Pillow is the best head support we have used for prone procedures. It supports the head and neck in a safe position, keeps the eyes clear of pressure and allows easy access to the endotracheal tube."

"Thank you so much for sending me the pillow. I can't begin to tell you what a difference it has already made. Many nights I would wake constantly from the pain in my right ear; the pressure from the pillow was actually waking me up. Your pillow has made it possible for me to sleep through the night - something I haven't done in quite some time.

As you requested, I have enclosed some information on my ear condition - Chondrodermatitis Nodularis Helicis. My condidition is nowhere near as severe as the picture shown and the pain I have dealt with was quite severe. I can't begin to imagine what someone with this much damage must be going through."

[ For this condition, dermatologists advise sleeping on your side with a pillow which has a hole to avoid any pressure on the ear. The P3 is recommended for lateral positioning in such cases. ]

"We would like to thank you for sending our mother, Ms. Dina Rubin, your P3-Prone Positioning Pillow. Our mother developed retinal detachment and had undergone retinal buckling surgery to treat the condition. She had to lie in the prone (face down) position for ten full days following the surgery. This, as you know, is a very uncomfortable position to maintain for a long duration of time. Your product helped her significantly: she reported that assuming the prone position was much more comfortable with the P3-Prone Positioning Pillow, and used it all the time after she got it. We would also like to thank you for your understanding of the urgency of the situation (as we only became aware of her need to assume the prone position after the surgery was done), and the speedy manner in which you sent the pillow all the way to Israel. We are very grateful for your product and understanding attitude.

We wish your product and your company the best (well-deserved) success."

"Thanks so much for sending me the P3 Prone Positioning Pillow. It worked great.
My mother had an eye operation which required her to lay face down 24 hours a day for 2 weeks. The P3 Prone Positioning Pillow made it a lot easier for her to lay face down for those 2 weeks."

"I want to thank you for sending me the prone pillow from H.E.A.D. prone following my victrectomy surgery. Trying to follow my surgeon's orders to keep my eyes and face turned down, even while sleeping, made it very difficult to sleep. I tried arranging ordinary pillows and even a device I found at a medical supply store, but could not create a comfortable sleeping arrangement.

Your pillow helped greatly. It is soft enough not to hurt my face and jaw, but flexible enough that I could adjust the positions of each side for greatest confort. Having one side open, of course, made it cooler and less claustrophobic.

The next time I went to see my surgeon after you sent me the pillow, I showed him your literature, with pictures of a patient using the pillow, and I recommended that he provide one for each of his patients in the future. He was quite impressed with the design and what I said about using it, and he put the copy of your literature on file.

I believe that you should routinely market the pillow to all retinal surgeons and any hospital where victrectomies are performed. I would like to think that everyone who has to recover from such a surgery would get this aid immediatly following the operation, even in the hospital, so that they would not have to struggle with trying to sleep as I did."
